Houston Bloom · Workshop
Learn to define your ideal customer profile. Then find the people you already know who can open a door for someone else in the room.
Where it started
At a networking event in September, a speaker asked the room whether anyone knew someone in his ICP's sphere of influence. One person raised a hand. That is how you get in, he said.
This workshop makes that question searchable, so the right person does not have to be the one who happens to raise a hand.
Part one
An ideal customer profile names who you most need to reach. Everyone leaves part one with theirs written down, ready to send to the room.
My ICP
Part two
01Download your connections From LinkedIn, before the day.
02Define your ICP In part one.
03Send it to the room Everyone's goes into one list.
04Download the room's list Every ICP in the room.
05Run the prompt It reads the list against your connections.
06Choose who to steward You decide who to introduce.
What the prompt builds
Your contact list matches these seventeen people. Two of them are for this person who requested it. One of them is for someone else.
How the output should read
Stewarding
Stewarding a connection means vouching for someone you know. Nobody is introduced unless you choose to.
Before you come
LinkedIn sends the file by email, so request it before the day.
In the file Names, company, position, the date you connected, and a profile link. Email addresses are mostly blank.
